The James A. Cannavino Library provides not only books that support classwork, but also popular reading materials for patron enjoyment. You can find fiction throughout the library including with juvenile books, young adult books, graphic novels and within the circulating collection. One of the best places to search is on the New Books Display near the Reference Desk. After 3 months on the New Books Display, books are moved to their permanent library location which is generally located on the first floor. American literature will have a call number that starts with "PS" and English literature will have a call number that starts with "PR".
To meet other readers, attend library events like Moby Dick Club and the Silent Book Club.
We will be reading and discussing Moby Dick by Herman Melville. Moby Dick Club is a chance to read something famously intimidating with a supportive community of students, faculty, and staff.
A less traditional book club where participants gather in the same space to read quietly.
