Moby Dick Club: Home

Welcome to Moby Dick Club

Ahoy and welcome to Moby Dick Club! Moby Dick Club is a book club dedicated to reading and discussing Moby Dick by Herman Melville. Our goals with Moby Dick Club are varied. We hope to foster a culture of reading and exploration.  Moby Dick Club is a chance to read something famously intimidating with a supportive community of students, faculty, and staff. By supporting each other through this more challenging read, we can prove to ourselves that we can do hard things! And when we work together, we can have fun doing them.

Why you should join Moby Dick Club?

Moby Dick Club is this hottest club on campus. You'll get:

  • The bragging rights of reading Moby Dick
  • To meet other people who are cool enough to join Moby Dick Club
  • A chance to learn about a wide variety of topics
  • A supportive community centered about reading and imagination
