How To Create a Free MyAccess Account

A MyAccess account allows you to save favorites and access content off campus.

  1. On the Physical Therapy Subject Guide, click on AccessPhysiotherapy or F.A. Davis PT Collection in the left hand box.
  2. Click on "Sign In" in the top right hand corner.
  3. In the drop down menu that opens, click on "Sign in or Create a Free MyAccess Profile"
  4. A separate small window will appear, click on the blue button labeled "Create a Free MyAccess Profile"
  5. Fill out the form provided. Select a password that is not your Marist password.
  6. Click the "Create Account" button at the bottom.
  7. You'll receive an email to confirm your account.

How to Access the Access App

This app will show you all of the collections we have available in our Access databases: Medicine, Pharmacy, F.A. Davis PT Collection & Physiotherapy.  Once you have logged in following the instruction below, search for the book by title that you are looking to access.

You must have a free MyAccess Account before you can access the app.

Off campus

To get access in the app to this content:

  1. Download the CiscoAnyConnect app (this app allows you to login into campus wifi from off campus)
  2. Login to the CiscoAnyConnect app using this information
    1. In the app, type v1.marist.edu in for the connection
    2. then turn AnyConnect VPN on (it is automatically off)
    3. in the next page, select you group as student and login with your Marist username and password.
  3. Open the Access app and login with your MyAccess account information

On campus

To get access in the app to this content:

  1. Open the app and login with your MyAccess account information.  This login is good for 90 days, but you can renew it by logging in to your MyAccess account while you are on campus.
