Here are some examples of encyclopedias that you can find in Marist's resources to help you explore a multitude of different religions.


Reference can be a wonderful thing when researching a topic you know little about. The databases above can provide a wealth of information if you use the right search terms. In the general databases when starting your research on a religion simply use the religions name such as "Zoroastrianism" or for less mainstream or popular religions type in their name and religion as an example Aztec AND Religion. To your left are some examples of great encyclopedias that cover many of the worlds major religions.
